Literature Text
I watch her from underneath,
Yearning for her beauty,
To lighten my dark world.
I'm not usually the impulsive one,
But today, I don't just
Want her, I need her.
So I take her,
Home with me.
Away from the sun.
She glares at me,
And she tells me she hates me,
But even her hatred is beautiful.
I give her jewelry,
And fancy clothes,
And the newest Apple device.
But most of all,
I give her my heart,
But she does not take it.
------------------------------------
He thinks he can
Win me over,
With fancy things,
But he's wrong.
He steals me
From my world,
And though he tries,
To get me to accept
One thing from him,
I refuse, knowing it would
Put me in his debt,
And make me stay here.
For I'm not cruel.
I have a heart,
Just not for this creature.
This thing, this monster,
The one who has taken
All my happiness.

Homeless
Homeless
So bright and warm
Like a candle turned down low.
The smile that can lift up my soul,
The embrace that settled like warm
honey on my heart.
Eyes like the sea, never one color for
long,
Changing like the waves.
Your playful laugh and cocky smirk
The roughness of your calloused hands
Forever gentle on my skin.
The look shared that said everything
Without saying a word.
The loneliness of nights spent far away
Then I hear your voice through the
static
And I am okay again.
And when I see your smiling face, and
feel
Your strong arms around me
I am home.
I thought you said forever,
I thought you said always.
And my heart

FFM28 - Alliance
“Let me get this straight,” Sadi began, glaring at the fae present. “You want to work with them? Instead of getting paid?”
Ace nodded. “I found out why they started the Rebellion, love,” he said seriously. “It’s not pretty. We’ll have to head back, get Poly and Maria. Convince them to help. I don’t want to be on Poly’s bad side.”
“‘Get on my bad side’?” croaked a voice from behind him. Ace whirled around, blinking at the sight of Maria standing awkwardly beside Shade, a crow perched on her shoulder. The crow huffed and ruffled its fea

Crying.
It's good, right?
Coming in waves,
licking at the edges of you eyes,
burning and itching to flow freely,
as a waterfall,
of salt and pain and everything you dreamed gone to waste.
The first because of her,
my obedience becoming a fatal flaw,
as I complied to her every whim.
Days and weeks and months and years,
how long did I let her torment me?
Far too long,
with the way she laughed at me,
casting me away from the others,
yet manipulating with her words,
making me believe her every thought.
Crying at myself,
for being naive.
The second because of him,
my obsession crowding my every whim,
and flowing freely into the vacancy
