So I asked a guy over to my house so I could make him dinner.
He said yes.
And today's the day, and I'm starting to panic.
I've never done this before!
Help! (comment with advice please!)

freak about what? the date or the cooking?
if the cooking, try something simple and make nice designs (presentation is half the battle ) stick to your strengths.
if the dating, i'm hardly an authority in the matter but i'd say most important thing is to stay calm. if it helps, keep in mind (and keep telling yourself) that it doesn't matter how it goes (that is to say it's not life or death or anything like that) and if it goes well great and if it doesn't, try again another time (and maybe with someone else ) in addition, maybe getting some bulletpoints for what to talk about, but let the conversation go where it may. nothing kills a conversation better than forcing it
that's it for my two cents. have fun
